Coming dates for your diaries include:
Friday 11 November - join Silchester School Year 3 and the Royal British Legion and villagers for a commemoration at the War Memorial at 11.00am.
Sunday 13 November the Village Service of Remembrance will take place at the War memorial, again at 11.00am.
Sunday 27 November there will be an outdoor mini-market from 4.00pm to 8.00pm with the Christmas tree lights being switched on at 6.00pm with a few Carols to get people ready for the festive season.
The traditional Village Christmas Market will be held in the Village Hall on Friday evening 2 December.
Christmas Dance this year will be a disco in the Village Hall on Saturday 10 December, tickets from Ann-Maries or from the Calleva.
